GST Return Filing & Reconciliation Services

Accurate returns, with input tax credit and output liability reconciled every period, so the figures on the GST portal match your books.

Often used by manufacturers and traders and service businesses.

The problem, in plain English

Filing a GST return takes minutes. Getting the numbers right takes care. The credit you can claim depends on what your suppliers report, not just the invoices in your file. If a supplier files late or makes a mistake, the credit can disappear from your side, and the department will notice before you do.

That is why we reconcile every period, not just at year end. We compare your purchase register with the supplier data on the portal, flag differences, and give you a short list of who to call.

Due dates depend on your filing frequency. Monthly filers usually file the sales return by the 11th and the summary return by the 20th of the following month. Larger businesses also file an annual return and, above a turnover threshold, a reconciliation statement. We keep your calendar so you do not have to.

Who this is for

  • Manufacturers and traders with many purchase invoices each month
  • Service businesses that bill large clients who check your GST filings
  • Businesses that have had a mismatch notice, or fear one
  • Owners who file their own returns and want them checked

What we do

  1. Collect the month's data

We take your sales and purchase registers, or work directly in your accounting software, at a fixed date each period.

  2. Reconcile input tax credit

We match your purchase records against what your suppliers have reported on the GST portal, and list every invoice that is missing or different.

  3. Follow up with suppliers

We send you a short list of suppliers who have not filed or have filed wrongly, so you can chase them before the credit is lost.

  4. File the returns

We prepare the returns, share a one-page summary of tax payable for your approval, and file before the due date.

  5. Annual return and review

At year end we prepare the annual return and, where required, the reconciliation statement, and fix differences before they become notices.

Documents you will need

  • Sales invoices or sales register for the period
  • Purchase invoices or purchase register
  • Debit and credit notes issued and received
  • Access to your GST portal login, or OTP support when we file
  • Bank statements, for checking payments to suppliers

Typical timeline

A monthly cycle that starts as soon as your books for the month are closed and ends with filing before the due date.

Fees depend on the work involved. We give you a clear quote before we start.

Questions we are often asked

Why does input tax credit in my books not match the GST portal?

Usually because a supplier has not filed their return, has filed it late, or entered your GST number or the invoice value wrongly. Reconciling every period catches these early, while the supplier can still correct them.

Should I file GST returns monthly or quarterly?

Smaller businesses can often choose quarterly returns with monthly tax payments. It reduces filing work, but may not suit you if your business customers want their credit quickly. We help you choose.

What happens if I file a GST return late?

Late returns attract a late fee and interest on tax paid late, and repeated delays can block your e-way bills or lead to notices. If you are behind, we can bring your filings up to date.

Can you file returns using my Tally or Zoho data?

Yes. We work from the accounting software you already use, and can suggest small changes so the GST data comes out clean every month.

Do you also handle e-invoicing and e-way bills?

Yes. We can check whether e-invoicing applies to your business and set up the process with your software, and advise on e-way bill rules for your goods.
